Plastic foldable crates for return logistics
Lock System foldable crates reduce return volume by up to 75%: they fold down in seconds, so empty crates take up a fraction of the space on the return trip. From 23 to 55 litres, suitable for food contact, with stable stacking equivalent to a rigid crate when assembled. The savings on return freight offset the price difference within a few seasons.

Do they hold up the same as a rigid one?
Assembled and with the lock properly engaged, load stacking is equivalent to a rigid crate in its range. The difference is in the unit price, which pays off when the return trip is expensive.
How much do I save on freight?
Quick rule: if your empties travel a long way back, the foldable crate pays for itself within a few seasons. We'll calculate it with your actual routes.
Are they suitable for food use?
Yes: food-contact-approved polyethylene, washable in a tunnel.
