What your operation needs

The season peak

Seasonal rental with staggered deliveries and quick expansion based on stock. Size conservatively without worry: if more fruit comes in, more bulk bins come with it.

The hygiene your customer demands

All rental material is delivered inspected and suitable for food use, with documentation for your HACCP and GlobalG.A.P./IFS audits.

Containers sitting idle the rest of the year

Either rent and forget about it, or sell us the bulk bins left over after the season. Your yard isn't a plastic graveyard.

What businesses like yours ask us

Answers from our sales team, with specific sizes and models. If your case is not covered, tell us and we will sort it out with you.

We've spent years supplying packing centres, co-operatives and growers across Murcia and the whole of Spain, and every season's conversation starts the same way: how many bulk bins, by when, and in what condition they arrive. This page sums up what we usually answer.

Which bulk bin does each crop need?

The first decision is vented or solid, and the second is the height. That settles 90% of cases:

  • Citrus and large-calibre vegetables: Vented Big Box of 1200x1000x780 mm, the season standard. The perforated walls and floor ventilate the product and prevent condensation and rot.

  • High-turnover cold rooms: vented 1200x1000x580 mm. Less height means less weight per column (standard models hold around 400-500 kg of usable load) and better handling.

  • Stone fruit, grapes and delicate produce: rigid fruit crates of 23 to 35 L for harvesting, which reduce layers and crushing. For large calibre, the 50-55 L crates.

  • Liquids, culls and by-products: watertight solid bulk bin, which doesn't leak or contaminate.

If you're torn between two models, tell us the crop, kilos per day and forklift type: we'll tell you the model and quantity, no obligation.

Buy or rent for the season?

It depends on how many months a year the container is in use. The short rule:

  • Continuous use or several seasons a year: buying wins almost every time. New or inspected second-hand, which costs considerably less and leaves our workshop checked and ready.

  • A peak of 1 to 3 months: seasonal rental. We deliver it inspected, you have it collected once you finish, and you don't invest in or store it for the other nine months.

  • Own fleet that falls short: a mixed model. You buy the base and rent for the peak, adding more mid-season if more fruit comes in.

We cover the full method, with the variables almost nobody factors in, in our guide buy or rent bulk bins?.

Hygiene and audits: what you'll be asked for

If you sell to large retailers, your customer audits the container too. Plastic bulk bins have the edge over wood: a non-porous surface, washable and sanitisable, with no splinters or nails. All our material, including rental and second-hand stock, is delivered inspected and suitable for food contact, with documentation for your HACCP and GlobalG.A.P. or IFS audits.

Book ahead of the peak

It happens every year: whoever books in spring has their bulk bins in August; whoever calls with the fruit already on the tree depends on whatever stock is left. We work with staggered deliveries and expansion during the season, but the cheap container is the one booked on time. If you work with citrus, take a look at how to plan your bulk bin booking for the season.

And when the season ends and you have bulk bins left over, we're on the other side too: we'll buy them from you, whatever condition they're in.

Sobre el sector Fruit and vegetables

Which bulk bin is best for citrus?

For citrus and delicate fruit we recommend vented Big Box units of 1200x1000 (580 or 780 mm) that provide natural ventilation, combined with rigid or foldable 55 L fruit crates for harvesting.

Can I rent bulk bins just for the season?

Yes: we rent by the month or for a full season (the norm, 1 to 3 months). We deliver the material inspected, you can add units at the peak and we collect it when you're done, with no investment or storage.

How quickly do you deliver during the season?

The lead time depends on the destination and quantity; we confirm it when you book, with staggered deliveries so we don't fill your yard too soon. At peak times, booking ahead guarantees availability.

Do rental bulk bins arrive clean?

Yes. All rental material is inspected before each delivery and supplied in condition suitable for food use, with documentation for your HACCP and GlobalG.A.P. or IFS audits.

Shall we talk about your next order?

Tell us what you need and we will prepare a no-obligation quote. Stock available and delivery across Spain.
