Cookie Policy
Information about cookies
Owing to the entry into force of the amendment to the "Law on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce" (LSSICE) established by Real Decreto 13/2012, it is mandatory to obtain the express consent of users of all websites that use non-essential cookies before they browse them.
What are cookies?
Cookies and other similar technologies, such as local shared objects, flash cookies or pixels, are tools used by web servers to store and retrieve information about their visitors, as well as to ensure the site works correctly. The use of these devices allows the web server to remember certain data relating to the user, such as their preferences for viewing that server's pages, username and password, or the products that interest them most.
Cookies covered by the regulations and exempted cookies
According to the EU directive, the cookies that require the user's informed consent are analytics, advertising and affiliate cookies, while technical cookies and those necessary for the operation of the website or the provision of services expressly requested by the user are exempt.
What types of cookies are there?
There are five broad groups of cookies:
Analytical cookies: collect information about how the website is used.
Social cookies: these are necessary for external social networks.
Affiliate cookies: allow visits from other websites with which the site has an affiliate agreement to be tracked.
Advertising and behavioural cookies: collect information about the user's personal preferences and choices (retargeting).
Technical and functional cookies: these are strictly necessary for using the website and providing the contracted service.

Requirements for valid consent
Consent to the use of cookies must meet the following requirements:
Specific information: consent must be specific and based on adequate information. Generic consent that does not specify the exact purpose is not acceptable.
Timing: consent must be given before processing begins.
Active choice: consent must be unambiguous, given through an active indication of the data subject's wishes, leaving no doubt as to their intention.
Freely given: consent is only valid if the data subject can make a genuine choice, with no risk of deception, intimidation, coercion or significant negative consequences for not giving it.
Procedures for obtaining consent
When only technical cookies are used, no consent is required, and the obligation is limited to informing users of the cookies installed in this Cookie Policy. When non-essential (non-technical) cookies are used, it is mandatory to obtain consent through a clear, proactive action by the user, as well as to allow it to be revoked and to inform users of the cookies installed.
Cookie information banner
Non-essential cookies may be installed provided there is a transparent background message that cannot disappear until the user expressly accepts it, informing them that continuing to browse the website implies acceptance of their use, of the ownership, purpose and expiry of the cookies installed, and providing a link to this Cookie Policy with the option to revoke consent.
